This size is suitable for cross-legged sitting, low to the floor and comfortable, and is the most popular most used size. You have normal mobility, can sit comfortably cross-legged, or can also sit in the lotus position.
This size is particularry suitable for kneeling and cross-legged sitting, if you want to change your sitting position during longer meditation sessions. Cross-legged sitting is also possible for longer periods if the lower legs can be placed on the floor to form a stable triangle. Not so suitable if you are under 1.60 m. In that case the leg length is probably too short for this.
Do you prefer to sit on your knees or do you have somewhat limited mobility of the leg muscles? Do you have knee or hip problems? This height is then perceived by many as pleasant, also due to the elevated sitting position.
